COURT BOOKINGS/RULES
- Due to the Covid-19 lockdown, we are currently experiencing a higher number of people playing than normal. There have been some changes. Currently you may only have a maximum booking of 2 hours.
- Please include your partner's name when booking.
- If you cannot play, please cancel the booking ASAP, and at least 24 hours before the booking. There are too many instances of people cancelling last minute and depriving others of the opportunity to play. This is the same as not turning up for the booking.
Booking
- Each member may have a maximum of 2 hours of bookings in the system at any one time. MyCourts will not allow bookings in excess of this time limit.
Booking Slots
- Most booking slots are 1 hour long.
- The exceptions are: on weekday evenings, where there are 90 min slots from 5.30-7pm and 7-8.30pm, weekends where there is one 90 min slot on both Saturdays and Sundays from 11am-12.30pm.
- Drills will only ever be held in a 90 min slot.
Re-booking
- The MyCourts system resets itself at the end of each day.
- Members will have to wait until the day after a live booking to book more playing time.
Guests
- Guests are welcome but would be expected to join if they play more than 3 times in a Membership Year
Be on time
- If any court is not in use ten minutes after the booking period starts the booking is not valid. Please check in online when you arrive.
Proof of Booking
- Print outs or mobile phones can be taken as ‘proof’ of booking.
- If no proof is available, then members are asked to be reasonable, but the person on court will be deemed to have priority.
Children
- An adult should accompany children under 13.
- Any unaccompanied child behaving irresponsibly may be asked to leave.
Code of Conduct
- The courts are not for use for cycling, skates, roller blades, or for any other ball games which cause any disruption to tennis players or damage to the surface.
Management
We are a Community Club and are trying to ensure fair playing time for all. All club management, administration and maintenance is done voluntarily by club members.
